Be really pretentious. Write super long comments. Put poetry and lyrics in your photo descriptions. Post snapshots and act like they're the Mona Lisa. Become outraged when you receive critical comments. Take forty pictures of a wall and claim it represents the prolific banality in the world of commercial art.

To be Art Major is to be blatantly pretentious.

Don't be afraid to be pretentious. I know that word gets thrown around a lot these days with negative connotations, but I urge you all to reconsider what being pretentious means to you. Is it not to pretend? And is to pretend not to imagine? Imagination is surely the key to creativity, and pretense is the key to becoming who or what you want to be, especially if you want to be a centaur! or a Nietzsche scholar!

The rules are as follows:
0. This should go without saying, but only one photo at a time, idiot. Let someone else post one before you post another. You are limited to seven photos a week.
1. Photos cannot be typical, but may be ordinary.
2. Don't forget to comment on the other photos in the pool.
3. If you decide to negatively critique a photo, the critique must be scathing. I mean SCATHING, make the poster cry.
4. Pretend to you know what you're talking about.
5. Listen to Le Loup.
