About Artistic Animal Portraits
This isn't just any animal portrait group. It's a group to express the animal you're photographing, and let the personality of the animal shine through. This may sound easy and you might think that all your portraits convey personality. But keep in mind you probably know the personality of the animal you're shooting so it is much easier for you to see than a complete stranger. This means your photo needs to be strong and special. It should be interesting to look at, different than all the other cat or bird pictures out there. So choose the portraits that you think really stand out!
I may have a different perspective of what an "artistic animal portrait" might look like so I'm open to seeing what everyone captures, but please no quick snapshots of your puppy or cat looking cute. If those photos happen to be added they will be removed just to keep the group true to it's name.
Animals are a great subject to focus on and hopefully we can all create an awesome collection of artistic animal portraits!!
