Welcome Artisan!

In Malaysia, I have not found a group which carries these themes above, still life, urban abstract and derelict.

That is why I created this group which focusing on images that have artistic value and concentrate on still life | urban abstract | derelict shots anywhere in or out of Malaysia.

There are a lot of subjects that worth to be photographed and shared among us. Please feel free to contribute your images.

Here are the definitions (extracted from Wikipedia):

Artistic Photography

The idea underlying it is that the producer of a given picture has aimed at something more than a merely realistic rendering of the subject, and has attempted to convey a personal impression. It is done to express the artist's perceptions and emotions and to share them with others.

Still Life Photography

A depiction of inanimate subject matter, focusing on any objects that worth to be presented. Still life photography is a demanding art, photographers expected to be able to form their work with a refined sense of lighting, coupled with compositional skills. Still life photographer makes pictures rather than takes them.
