WHAT WE DO

We are an art hire company based in Park Royal, London. We have a large collection of paintings, prints and photographs which we hire weekly, mostly to the film and TV industries. All our works, have been cleared by the artist for their use on screen. To hire a piece, we charge a percentage of its value.

The idea of this group is to allow friends and contacts to have their photographs considered for film and TV use. As we can't afford and haven't room for all the photographs we would like to buy we thought we should allow our clients to choose the work from a database and then buy the chosen piece. The group works like this:

We allow our clients access to this group. If they should choose a photograph that they would like to hire, we then hire it as a jpeg for a one off usage or print and frame it for them and then hire it to them weekly. When they return the framed photograph, it would join our other works in our permanent collection.


WHAT YOU NEED TO DO.

To have your work in this group, you will need to have done the following:

1 Made contact with us on info@arthousehire.com where we will email you a copy of our letter of agreement. This agreement letter when signed will give your consent for the photograph's use. You will still retain copyright but wave film and TV use of one print of the image to us.

2 We will pay you £30 for each image chosen. This is a one off payment and will mean that we keep the printed image but that you retain its copyright.

3 You will need to print and return the signed letter of agreement if your work is chosen. We will return a signed copy for you to keep.

4 You will need to be able to send us a high resolution copy of the photograph to print should a client choose it.

ADDING IMAGES

1 Images should only be added if you are happy that they satisfy the terms of the agreement letter. Basically, the photograph has to be your own work and if the image contains people, they have to have consented to the use of their image on screen.

2 All images have to be really well tagged. This will allow clients to narrow down their search. Tags should include content (e.g. balloons) colours (e.g. red) mood (e.g. happy) style (e.g. abstract)

3 We reserve the right to review all images that are accepted into the group.

4 Arthouse is only responsible for a print of an image after we have bought its use and completed letters of agreement between us. As with all flickr! images we can not control who else accesses photographs and how they use them. Please set your privacy settings correctly so that the photograph cannot be downloaded by anyone else.

JOINING THE GROUP

This group is by invite only. Assuming you are happy with the above, contact us on info@arthousehire.com and we will make email contact. Don't forget to include your flickr! name so that we can invite you to the group.
