Great little group, thanks for the invites, or I'd've never thought to add it to an Arnside group!
I only get out to Arnside once a week, but hopefully more in the near future, and I will definatley be taking my cameras with me! =)
A gorgeous place where I've spent many a summers evening relaxing by the shore...AOONB indeed.

I only get to Arnside once in while,but think it is a fascinating (not so) little village in a fascinating area...... the bore is a wonderful spectacle... will have to look out some of my pics that so far have not appeared on Flickr......I'm fascinated to see similarities between some of my shots and some I have seen already on a quick glance through some of the group pics.

Thanx for inviting me to leave my pic, Happycamping. I used to work down the road from Arnside - in the quarry at Sandside to be exact. I used to get sent to the chip shop on a Friday to fetch the lad's dinners - best part of the week!

Thanks for the invite and the kind welcome.
I love Arnside and I'll be up there again this week fishing and snapping a few shots too, no doubt.
I'll certainly take a photo of the xmas tree aswell, Happycamper.

Thanks for the invite, I live not so far away so I go when I feel like it :)
Was actually just taking a picture of the bus, had just had a really nice conversation with a couple from Carnforth, the husband had alzhiemers, we had a quite frank and interesting conversation about photography, light, public transport and drugs(his pills) amongst other things in the space of about 20mins, (I had come in a car, the bus was a bit late and it did n't feel write (look how i spelt right! doh! )driving off in a warm car while they were waiting for the bus)
So I took this picture to remember them :o)
