About Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills Flickr Scavenger Hunt

Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills is held its first Flickr scavenger hunt on Sunday 4th November 2009, this was such a sucess that we're doing another one on Sunday 15th November 2009. This is a group for all those taking part in the scavenger hunt to post their photos and for everyone to see the snaps!

About the Hunt...

The scavenger hunt will start with a briefing at 1.30 at Armley mills. We have a small number of cameras you can use in return for a small deposit however it would be preferable if you brought your own. Then you will be let loose around the museum to solve the clues. You will be given an information sheet, which have the clues on. Once you’ve solved the clues you must take a picture of the item as this will be your evidence that you have finished the hunt.
The museum is in 7.4 acres so there will be some pictures that will be taken outside. Once you’ve taken all the pictures or by 3.00 you will return to the Learning Centre and using our laptops you can download your pictures onto our Flickr group(Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills Flickr Scavenger Hunt).

After the Game

If you haven’t downloaded the pictures at Armrley Mills you can download them at home. You will need to become a member of Flickr and join the Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills Flickr Scavenger Hunt group. You can then vote for your favourite picture.

Voting and Prizes

There will be a prize given out on the day to the first team back with the correct clues solved and a prize for the best picture voted by the others on the scavenger hunt.
