About ARKANSAS COUNTRY STORES

Post photos, drawings, paintings, prints and original artworks that are pictures of country stores in Arkansas. These can be photos you take if the store is still in existence. For store of the past, that are no longer standing, or for a view of an existing store the way it appeared in the past, post whatever photos you have, wherever you can find them. Keep copyright laws in mind if posting others' work. It should be public domain or used with permission of the photographer. Please credit the source or photographer if the work is not your own.

I personally am most interested in stores from Lawrence County, Randolph Co., Fulton Co., Independence Co., Jackson Co., Sharp Co., Craighead Co. and Izard Co.

Off topic photos and art will be deleted.

Try to keep editing to a minimum so as to preserve the historical significance of the photo.

For visual artists works, impressionism and expressive styles are okay, but we do want to see what the store looked like. So if it is really abstract, post it elsewhere.
