About Arhag Refugee Week Photography Competition
Refugee Week 2011 - Different pasts, shared future
To celebrate Refugee Week 2011 Arhag Housing Association is running a competition in association with Zoom-In Photography.
The lucky winners will win a place on a photography workshop where they can develop their skills further. They will also have the chance to exhibit their work at Arhag’s annual tenants’ conference in October 2011 and have their work featured on future promotional materials.
Here's how it works:
- The project is open to anyone based in the UK
- Photos should represent the theme ‘different pasts, shared futures– you can interpret this theme in any way you like
- You can submit up to three photos
- Photos can be taken in any format – compact camera, disposable camera (you can get these developed and scanned at your local photo processing place), camera phone, film
- Each photo should include a short description saying what it means to you and how it meets the theme of ‘different pasts, shared futures’ - If English is not your first language or you are having trouble writing a description please contact Arhag and we will be happy to help you with this part
To enter:

- Add your photos to the group before the 15th August 2011
- Tag your photo arhagphotocomp
