About Annual ARGFest Official Logo Contest

ARGFest is looking for an official logo to use annually for all things ARGFest. We want -you- to design it!
Create an original logo, and
A) submit it to this group, or
B) tag the image with "argfestlogo"

Winners will be determined ultimately by the ARGFest Planning Committee. However - popular submissions will be considered first. Submissions must be received by June 28, 2008, and voting will commence for one week, until July 5. Ratings will be determined by the number of "favourites" for each submitted image. *Having the logo with the most votes doesn't guarantee a win* but it does indicate it's the community favourite, and weighs heavily on the committee's decision. (To 'vote', you need to be registered at flickr in order to 'favourite' a photo)
Submissions may still be made past the June 28th deadline - the deadline is intended to give time for a selection of submissions, and a relatively even, fair voting field.

What does that mean in short?
* Design a logo
* Upload it to flickr and tag it with "argfestlogo" and/or upload it to this group.
* After June 28, hope that people 'vote' for your logo by selecting it as a 'favourite'
* Voting closes July 5th

Submission requirements:
* at least 200dpi, submitted in RGB (not CMYK)
* Date and location text must be included, but optional/removable (will be replaced each year with the updated date and location)

Prize for the winning design:
* Free ARGfest registration
* Free t-shirt with the winning design

All submissions become property of Unfiction, Inc.
The logo will be used on the website, promotional material, clothing, etc.
