I had hoped to add a couple more to this thread: there's a Gilbert building next to "Ground Zero," badly damaged from September 11, and I have a shot, but it's not worth sharing.
But Gilbert did a lot: check out the Wikipedia entry on him. It's all in the US, but within the limited sphere (and outside of NYC) there are small parts like the U.S. Supreme Court building. Stuff in Minnesota, too!!
So, check him out, and chip in!!

Holla. This here's the West Street Building a.k.a. 90 West Street:
If you view the largest version of these photos, you'll notice one gargoyle has his head missing, but other than that, the building looks really good for its age, especially when you consider it was awfully close to the collapsed Twin Towers.
