About Architectural Photography - Technique
For people wanting to improve their architectural photography through examples and discussion.
Photographs must be accompanied by some text describing and explaining the approach used. Please give some indication as to why the chosen approach was used, not just a list of equipment. If you don't want to add this text to the description of your photograph, by all means put it in a discussion topic, and then link to the photograph in question.
The group is not just aimed at those with lots of gear. Examples of how to work within the limits of a single camera or lens are very welcome. Discussion of composition as well as equipment choice appreciated. "After the event" discussion of an instinctive or lucky shot is perfectly acceptable, as we can all learn from these.
Please show some restraint when posting examples of Photoshop use (especially heavily photoshopped images), as there are already many, many Flickr groups devoted to this kind of thing.
Constructive criticism welcome (but it must be constructive).
