A catalogue of photos showing different architectures of India from different eras.
+ Add ONE good, clear image of the site, building, monument, structure, ruins, pavillion, stuppa, temple/religious place and other permanent architecture which is not yet posted in this group.*
+ Multiple posts of one site are permitted if there is more than one structure in that site (one post/view per structure).
+ If you spot more than one image of a structure in the pool, contact the administrator.
+ Photos taken during daylight are preferable.
+ Avoid adding images which include anything else but the architecture. Images of façades only - do not add photos taken [from] inside the architectures (for exceptions, discuss or contact the administrator).
+ Avoid adding watermarked, retouched and black & white images.
+ Avoid adding images with borders - the thicker the border, the least likely it is to be accepted into the pool.
+ Avoid adding images with noticeable obstructions (particularly people and scaffolding) - images of nothing but the structure are preferable.
+ Former and abandoned architectures are permitted (e.g. Babri Masjid etc).
+ Photos MUST have the correct name of the architecture and/or location.*
+ Do NOT post photos if the architecture is already in this group.*
+ This is NOT an arts group.
+ Open to suggestions and comments - discuss.
+ *If you strongly feel that an existing image doesn't truly represent the site, think you may have a better image along with better labelling or believe an image is incorrectly labelled, then feel free to contact the adminstrator or discuss before adding another image. The administrator's decision is final.
+ If you become a regular contributor to this group, you may be eligible to become a moderator - contact the administrator.
