ARAD COUNTY is located in western Romania and includes territories from Crisana and Banat. County stretching one side of the Mures river and Crisul Alb river.
- Bihor is bordered to the north and north-east, Alba to east, Hunedoara to south-east, Timiş to south and Hungary to the west.
- Area of the Arad County is 7754 square km.
- The Arad County comprises 10 towns.
- Crossed by the Mures river, its territory is included in the rate of approximately 3/4 Crisana region, the remainder being in the Banat region.

ARAD CITY is located in the western part of Romania, being the first major city entering the country from Central Europe.
