Everything showing a Monti or Monti's details is warmly welcome as long as it is a foto of good quality or better!

About Alfa Romeo Montreal

Alfa Romeo Montreal and details of Alfa Romeo Montreal

The Alfa Romeo Montreal developed out of a Alfa Romeo-study of the Bertone chief designer Marcello Gandini for the Expo 1967 in Montreal(Canada).

Technically based on the Giulia these breath-taking beautiful Alfa Romeo was equipped with a 200 HP, 2.6-litre, V8-front-engine with SPICA fuel injection, accelerated up to 220 km/h - at that time a supersportscar-common maxiumum speed - and from 0 to 100 km/h were less than 8 seconds needed.

Nearly 4' 000 units of the exclusive Alfa Romeo Montreal were produced from 1970 to 1977in Arese (Alfa of Rome EO works, Milano) and Caselle/Grugliasco (Carrozzeria Bertone, Torino).

As worthy successor I appreciate the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione (2007).
