Before we had the Pendolino, we had the APT.
This a group for old photos, or photos of the preserved APT-E at either the NRM York/Locomotion: NRM at Shildon or APT-P at Crewe Heritage Centre (aka The Railway Age).
Group for:-
APT-E (Experimental) - Gas Turbine
APT-P (Prototype - Class 370) - Overhead Electric
Of course - the humble Class 91 was a result of the doomed prototype APT-P Powercars; so not all was lost......
