Welcome To Andhra Pradesh Photographic Society - APPS
APPS started in 1958 with the aim of spreading the knowledge of Photography and imparting various photography skills to the members with out any excessive financial burden on its members. Since than Society continues to uphold the same spirit of its Founder Members.
In this regard the Society held various workshops for its members and some times to the nonmembers also. Almost for the last 50 years the Society has been holding monthly meetings with out fail and during its meetings apat from discussion on Photography monthly competitions were held on various subjects.
In this regard the Society has conducted 13 National Salons and intending to do 14th soon.
The Society planning to hold workshops to its members by experienced photographers and outings in and around Hyderabad on various subjects. For ex: Architectural, Street, Nature etc photography.
The Society is going to invite famous photographers from Hyderabad and rest of the country to showcase their work and share their knowledge with members. Society has a separate group in Yahoo, those who are interested to join the group can become a member in that group by joining apps_hyd@yahoogroups.com.
