I have seen multiple copies, from different sources, of some of the old church photos included in this Apostolic Christian Churches Flickr group. One of these sources had written on the back of some of these photos that they were taken by someone by the name of John E. Palmer in the first half of the 1940s. Does anyone know who John E. Palmer is/was, and why he took these photos?

Additionally, you will notice the same car in many of these photos. (For example, see the photos below.) Does anyone know the make/model of the car? Was this John E. Palmer's car, or did it belong to someone else?
