About A Place For Us
A place for us to talk about anything we find interesting (but mainly photography). This group is about discussion more than posting pictures relating to any theme. Feel free to post any pictures you want and start discussions about pictures posted to the group.
I formed this group because:
1. I've been wishing I could introduce a lot of my contacts to each other. If you've been invited to the group, it's because I think you have an interesting eye and a unique style and want my other contacts to know about you. (For now, the group is limited to my contacts at my invitation, but I may eventually open it up to group members' contacts that are suggested as a good fit for the group.)
2. I've been wishing I could ask my contacts things as a group rather than just one-on-one. I want a discussion community. As one of my contacts said when I suggested this group to him, too many Flickr groups are just about dumping pictures and taking off. I know there are some really interesting discussions going on in various Flickr groups, but often it seems like they're hard to find.
I hope this can be a group where we all get to know each other a little better, share our knowledge, opinions, and insight, and find some inspiration.
(And yes, the group name is a song lyric.)
