About A Pictures Worth
If a picture is worth 1000 words then surely a word can inspire 1000 pictures. A Picture's Worth is a photography collective that aims to define one word from as many visual perspectives as possible.
So that we can display your submitted photos on the APW website for the world outside flickr to see, please tag your photos apicturesworth1000words
Check apicturesworth.org every sunday, or join this group, to see the new word that wil be posted every Sunday. Consider the word and interpret it with your camera. You can use freshly taken photos or ones from your archive. Submit your shot and help create an archive of words and their photographic definitions.
All photos submitted for a particular word will be posted on apicturesworth.org where we already have a nice archive built for some very interesting words as well as a dedicated following of both photographers and viewers who enjoy to the project.
You can submit up to 10 photos each week, depending on how inspired you are by the word. You can also suggest words that you'd like to see realized by emailing comments@apicturesworth.org
