Seems like an easy way to add a custom watermark to your images...

I had only a quick look at the page, but I can't see what benefits this editing plugin offers over the watermark that Aperture can apply on export.

I'm not aware of a built-in way to add a visible watermark (as opposed to embedding a copyright in the EXIF data).

P.S. I'm the developer of Watermark.

Don't you have to export to a file or email for that feature? Does it work when using Flickr Export (which is the only way I export).

You add the watermark to an export preset, then you can use that preset during any sort of export, Flickr Exporter included. See the link above.

The plugin mentioned above has the advantage of displaying the watermark while you're still in Aperture. the built-in Aperture way requires you to export the image before seeing what the watermark looks like.

the borderfx plug-in (free) will add any type of water mark and copy-write information you like at the export stage, as well as some nice border effects.
