A quick practical note about the pool: could everyone please contribute no more than 15-20 photos at a time, preferably allowing someone else to post their photos before uploading more. All your photos are welcome, unless completely off-topic, so upload away. Just not all at once, okay? :-)

PS some really good photos out there! No time to comment on them all, but the pool's got a nice mix. Cheers, all.

About APEC 2007

The Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) summit is happening in Sydney this year, from the 3rd to the 9th of September.

5000 international delegates and media, protected from a predicted 5000 protesters by another 5000 local police and troops ... who will all, in turn, probably be watched by a similar number of photographers.

Put your APEC related photos in the group pool, and discuss APEC related topics in the discussions.

If our city must be made a spectacle of, let's get some photos.
