About Anatomy of a photo
If you have an interesting photo that you want to share how you created it technically towards a specific goal then please share your experience on here.
The purpose of this pool is to share experience and expertise, for each to learn off each other and for newbies to photography and digital manipulation to learn more. I'd like to inspire everyone to start having a purpose to some of their creative photos. So if you have some incredible techniques in your arsenal, be it the way you shoot, or simply a technique you use to create some emotion in an image then this pool is for you. If you have an image that screams, Wow how did they do that? then these are the images I am looking for.
Here are the rules.
1. Each image must have a description that describes the alterations or process taken and the purpose of the alterations in respect to achieving a desired goal. Include examples like burning(darkening) dodging(lightening), contrast, colour saturation etc. Look at the very first image in the pool to get an example. The reason for this is so that people from all levels are inspired to experiment, and understand how "you created that incredible image".
2. Tag your images with "AOP" (Anatomy of a Photograph)
3. This is not a dumping ground for any old photo. This is a place where people can share ideas and describe their desired creativeness, so dont just post any old photograph that didnt have any thought or planning. No images that are computer generated patterns or 3D images. All posted images must be recognisable as a photograph.
4. Post as many images you want, but due to the nature of the descriptions, and the thought that needs to go into these types of images, it's quite possible that only a couple will ever be posted in a row by a single person.
5. Any images that dont have appropriate descriptions or are simply dumped into this pool will be deleted without notification. repeat offenders may also be banned and removed.
6. Comment on others images and promote creativity.
7. Invite others to join this group
