Harry Potter is not the start and end of all fantasy. If you have had enough of HP fanatics and fantasies, join this group for a Potter free fantasy experience! Anthing fantasy not inspired by HP is welcome here!


I recently received an invitation to join a magically themed group, and there in the group description was the word 'muggle', even though the group has nothing to do with Harry Potter!

I did a search for 'Harry Potter' groups on Flickr and got 325 results. 325 groups all dedicated to praising Harry Potter! Not one that said 'Harry Potter, so over this'. I decided it was time someone put their foot down and said NO! to Harry Potter. He is not the be-all and end-all of fantasy. This group is the result. It's the Anti-Potter Fantasy Club, a place for everyone who never saw what was so great about HP or who dipped into a temporary obsession, but has since recovered.

Please join this group to post photos and video of any fantasy item you can imagine that was in no way inspired by Harry Potter. This can be ANYTHING from craft items to the cover of your favourite fantasy book. Just make sure you weren't thinking of Harry Potter when you made/collected/photographed it and it is welcome here! (but no nudes or other 'adult' content please).
