About Anthropogenics

The flickr group of Anthropogenics; a photo-blog depicting the human-made, human-marked, post-natural, contemporary landscape.

There are many very high-quality flickr groups on these and related subjects. We don't expect or seek to replace them. "Anthropogenics" is motivated by the belief that these topics are sadly under-represented on tumblr (with the major exception of urbanautica).

Anthropogenics is in early adolescence. Accordingly we are experimenting with our identity, still seeking a role and purpose in life, but full of enthusiasm and, we hope, potential. Please forgive our naivety, and our biggest short-fall - the lack of any commentary on or context to our posts. This will change if and when we grow up.
