Upload the pictures you want to be in the series leaving the one you want to start the series til last so it will be the one people see. Make sure you snag the first comment window in that photo by writing booo in it or something.
Then go to the next pictures and add them to that comment window here is how:
1) go to the picture
2) click on All Sizes above that picture
3) chose medium from Available Sizes
4) scroll down to the window that says "Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage"
5) copy all of the html code and paste in that first comment box under the first picture. You can add words between each added html picture

To be sure to grab the first comment box without stress you can select 'private' for the privacy settings in the upload form. After you've done all the copy and paste and word things in the first comment box you can change the settings to 'public' on the picture page.

I've been trying but so far no joy.
What if the photos you wish to use have already been uploaded? Do you need to upload once again to avoid the comments on it already? Is the scroll down part of the story simply a big comment to the photo you start the story with? Please advise.
thanks bud

sorry Verizon ditched us for a while so I wasn't able to get on the internet for a bit.
I think I understand what you are asking but not sure. Is this an example?
---- you have a series of photos that would make a good story but you didn't think of it until now. All the photos you want to use in the story have comments under them so there is no clean box to start with is that it?
The only problem is that first photo that you want the scroll down story to be posted under. One thing people have done (can be tedious) is copy all the comments onto something (like text edit) delete them post the scroll down story in now available comment box and then paste all the comments in the next new comment box
...... OR you could post that photo again (yeah you'd have two of the same in your stream but it is easier) leaving it private like suggested above and then you would have a clean first comment to start the scroll down.
The pictures that you use to follow are no problem since you are just posting their HTML code in the comment and that doesn't carry all the comments with it.

Flickr has made it easier to do Scroll down stories Here is the new way:
chose the picture you want to hold the story. Make sure you snag the first comment window in that photo by writing booo in it or something.
Then go to the next pictures and add them to that comment window here is how:
1) go to each picture you've chosen in turn
2) click on the SHARE THIS button above the photo
3) chose medium from "grab HTML/BBS code drop down window
4) Copy the HTML code
5) paste in that first comment box under the first picture. You can add words between each added html picture
Please let me know it these directions are correct!!!
