About Animal Contest Group

Contests of many different types of animals.

Contests will be open to the first 10 entries. The first photo to reach 5 votes wins and is responsible for choosing a new animal for the subject of the next contest.

RULES

This is a family friendly group:
- No nudity!
- Racial, ethnic, religious or any other negative comments will not be tolerated.
Breaking either of these rules will risk you being banned from the group.

1. Entering a Challenge

- You may post 1 medium sized photo per challenge.
- Photos are only allowed into one open challenge at a time (this includes challenges that are set to "Vote").
- You must ensure the photo is not private and accepts comments.
- You must ensure it is entered so that it links back to the Flickr photo page or we cannot leave awards.
- You must number your entry.
- Tag your photo with AnimalContest
- You may not enter a challenge you start after winning.

2. Voting

- Please vote in all challenges marked VOTE
- Vote for only one photo per challenge
- You may not vote for your own photo
- Please ensure your vote is correct after posting

3. Winning

- The first photo to get 5 votes wins and will invited to post their photo to the pool
- The winner has 12 hours, from receipt of your award, to open a new challenge (or an admin will do it for you)
- Do not open a challenge before you receive your award
- Once a photo has won a challenge it cannot be entered into any more challenges.

4. Second Place & the Second Chance Challenge

- Second place winners must receive at least two votes.
- If more than 2 people share second place then no second place awards will be given.
- Any photo awarded second place will be permitted to enter that photo into the Second Chance Challenge.
- You may only enter your photo into the Second Chance Challenge once per second place award.
- You may enter more than one photo into the Second Chance Challenge
- The winner of the Second Chance Challenge will be invited to post their photo into the photo pool but not to open a new challenge.
- If you do not win you may continue to enter your photo in normal challenges.

5. Feedback

Feedback is always appreciated; however, please leave feedback on the photo and not in the challenges
