I've seen many groups that include an "icon of the week" contest, and I thought it would be fun if we made one for Animal Kingdom!

Rules/Description:
-We need your participation! If not enough people enter, then we close the contest!!!
- The current icon will be presented on the front page.
-The time frame for submission is from anytime Saturday through 4:00 PM ET Thursday.
-The owner of the current icon will then FlickrMail me which photo they want to make the next icon on Thursday night. If I don't recieve an e-mail, The adminstrators will select the winner.
-You may submit a maximum of 2 photos a week.
-You can't submit an entry if you are judging that week, obviously.
-You may replace an entry with another icon.

HOWTO enter your icon:
1) Select one of your photos that has been invited into the Animal Kingdom group.
2) a) Click on "All Sizes" on the photo page. Then select "Square (75x75)." Once the icon has been posted in this thread, I will resize it with Photoshop to fit the icon size (48x48).
2) b) You are allowed to submit a cropped image as long the original was invited.
3) On the "All Sizes" page, copy the the Option 1 code.
4) Paste it into a post on this thread. You are allowed to submit between Saturday and 11:00 AM ET on Thursday.
5) Wait until Friday to see if you were selected.

HOWTO select an icon:
1) If you are the owner of the current icon, FlickrMail me your selection Thursday night.
2) The new icon will appear Friday.

I will post a new topic for each week's contest. At 11:00 AM ET Thursday, the thread will be locked. I'm also in the process of making a "Hall of Fame", where all of the winning icons will be posted.

This idea was borrowed from the Spectacular Animals group!
