Hello everybody!
My name is Nick and I have always enjoyed general photography. I never really got into it until recently. I've never had a good camera, either! LOL
Last Monday, I bought myself a Canon Powershot S5 IS. It is very nice and takes excellent photos.
I am an animal lover. I have dogs, a cat, and birds (parrots).
My mother is big into birds and her father adopts birds who cannot be released into the wild. He built an aviary in my mother's backyard.
Anyways, I love taking pictures of the birds and all my pets - as well as wild animals.
I am new to Flickr as well as this group. I have always been with Photobucket, but it's easier to share photos here.
I look forward to adding my photos to the "pool"!

I'm Claire from outback Australia....Sort of surrounded by nature, just hampered by the severe drought we still are experiencing...
I want to improve my camera work but never seem to find the time to study the manual, hints on the Net, etc...I will get around to it though...
