About Aviation: AMX Ghibli
I opened this group for a couple of good reasons.
First, it's a way to remember my dear friend Paolo François, whom christened the AMX “Ghibli” in Italy winning an official contest announced by the Italian General Staff back in 2001. Paolo unexpectedly passed away on January, 23rd 2009, leaving us in a deep sadness and consternation. Every time I watch an airplane flying, my thoughts go to him. God bless you my friend, you know you’re always with us every time an aircraft leaves the ground.
Second, I think it’s a pretty little aircraft not present here on Flickr so why don’t have a page especially devoted to it?
So, any shots of AMX (both Italian and Brazilian) are welcome. The only rules here is that photos must show at least one AMX (flying or on the ground) and that the contents MUST be original.
