About amusing place names
you know the sort. graham norton encourages viewers to send him postcards from towns with rude names. noel edmonds had his house party in one. there's been a book celebrating a few of the uk's finest, and now a handy widget which'll find some for you if you don't happen to get out much. but where have you been, and sniggered at?
pictures invited of signs or similar placename-proclaiming objects, & a view or two of the place itself if you like. bonus points if you live there!
tag your photos with as much geographical information as you can muster (town county country; town state country et cetera), or geotag them if that's your thing.
warning for those of a weak constitution: may contain certain amounts of humour of a questionable taste and/or profanity. particularly if anyone visits that damned place in austria...
