About Amphibious ATVs

Amphibious ATVs (all terrain vehicle) are designed to go over water, land, steep terrain, swamp and marsh. ATV's are built to reach remote areas for recreation, government, commercial, and military applications. An amphibious ATV typically comes in 6 or 8 wheel drive. Recreational amphibious ATVs are great for for weekend fun but generally will not last very long in working applications. Amphibous RAVs (Remote Access Vehicles) are built for the working outdoors man and can be used on a daily basis with minimal maintenance.
