Thanks for taking an interest in our group!!

This group was created by Best Friends Animal Society as a place for you to share photos of your adopted four-legged family members, as well as stories and thoughts about adopting. We'd like this to be a showcase for all the beautiful, loving, adopted canines and felines out there. In the description of your photo, please talk about what adoption has meant, not just to you, but to your animal(s), too! We all know how rewarding it is to give a homeless dog or cat a second chance, now let’s tell America!

Also, if you haven't yet, please sign the petition at www.ObamaFamilyDog.com -- it's a way to encourage the Obama Family to adopt, not buy, the dog they plan to add to their family after the election.

Finally, please consider making a donation to the work Best Friends is doing to help homeless pets and fight puppy mills. With your help, we can help educate the public about where that “puppy in the window” really came from, and encourage them to save lives by choosing to adopt, instead of buy from a commercial breeder.
