About Ambiguities conference 2009

Skepsi's Editorial board is organising a visual exposition, on the occasion of the second postgraduate conference to be held at the University of Kent (Canterbury, UK). The conference is titled 'Ambiguities' and it is due on the 23rd of May 2009.
Skepsi editorial board welcomes submissions for the 'Ambiguities' exposition. Photos, paintings and any other form of graphic production are all accepted. The image submitted should interpret the conference theme as widely as possible.
Please post as many contributions as you like, invite as many people as you want to the group. Beware though of the following rules:

- EACH image needs to be captioned with a brief explanation of how it fits the theme. Images without caption will be deleted and will not participate to the competition.
- be sure to own the rights of the image you are posting.
- only printable material is accepted (i.e. no sculptures, no installations, etc.)

The deadline for submissions is the 15th of March. After this date, the organising committee will assess the group pool and select 20 contributions for the exposition (20 images from 20 different contributors).
Selected artists will be asked for permission to expose the artwork on the 23rd of May at the University of Kent at Canterbury (UK). The venue will be communicated at a later date.
Please note that we decline any responsibility for the integrity of any material you will send for the exposition. It is therefore highly advised for those artists who will submit a painting or other non reproducible artwork to submit and expose a photo or other reproduction of the piece.
Furthermore, please note that among the 20 works selected, one will be used for the poster, brochures and any other promotional material for the conference.
Also, please note that this group is not the only channel for submitting contributions. If you prefer you can send an email to the address below, containing a JPG attachment and the brief caption. The selection will be based on both the group pool and the contributions received by Email.
