ha ha george, that sure is funny! I love the nostrils becoming even more pronounce in the amazing circle.
Here is one I did from a portrait not of me but of my dad and his dog- it makes me laugh!

I like yours too, gettthebubbles. You know people and their pets often become seamless just as you circle shows.

Thanks. Actually, now that I look at them more closely, I dont think that was my exact original picture... I took a few that were similar... and in this one you can't see the earring that is in the center of the Circle. But anyway, the original was something similar, probably with slightly different eyes and hair.

Eastofnorth, that is priceless (laughing out loud for real)....and Bluewave, I'm not sure how you accomplished the mirrored image effect but I do know the eyes have it!
Thanks to you both!

Thanks, Photophool -- I handpainted it with gradient maps, but wasn't satisfied enough to post it to flickr public. Glad I found a good use for it in amazingcircles. ;P

This is not a "self" portrait, but here it is, just the same:

To all the previous posts: Too funny! This has to be one of the most fun groups to belong to in flickr!

I did this some time ago with a picture of my daughter (then 7 years old). I don't have the source photo, but it was of her when she lost her first tooth I believe. The result:

I lied. This is the original. http://www.flickr.com/photos/psychobabble/19182627/in/set-72057594056899003/
This technique was definately not made for use on portraits! Ha ha!

This is the first CSP that I was pleased with...

I couldn't stop with just one - This is the sixth version of the same base image...

I think this one is rather gnome-like. Think I'll go find a garden to live in...
