INTRODUCTION
Philippines is a scattered archipelago of seven thousand, one hundred seven island that lies the Pacific Ocean and south China Sea. One of the westernized country in Asia. The islands are grouped into four region: Luzon to north, where the capital, Manila is located. Palawan to the west; the Visayas in the center and Mindanao to the south. Philippines, well known for its beautiful country, warm sea, sandy beaches, clear blue sky, coral reefs, rugged mountain ranges and flourishing forests and the friendly local people.

Climate:
The climate is typically tropical, with three distinct season.
* The dry cool season runs from November to February.
* The dry hot season Summer runs from March to May.
* The wet season, runs from June to October.

Fiestas:
Filipinos are fun loving people and this is illustrate by the various Fiesta that are celebrated in town and villeges throughout the country. Fiesta may commemorate a religious or historical event. Based on the traditional ritual or combine of celebration for a plentiful harvest or to honor the patron Saint of the town.

Three Famous Fiestas:
*ATI- ATIHAN - means (Native) Ati is the original names for the early inhabitant of
the philippines. They called the negratos, who is dark skinned with
curly hair.
* SINULOG - This festival is held in Cebu every mid January. Its blend the history
of Cebu as well as pay homage to the patron Santo Nino.
* DINAGYANG - held in Iloilo every fourth weekend of January in island of panay,
Kalibo.
