“...Eu tinha ouvido falar nesse projeto internacional que se preocupa em registrar tudo que acontece no mundo. Um amigo de Hamburgo tinha me falado desse projeto, fotógrafos do mundo todo trabalhando juntos, para registrar o mundo como ele é, antes que tudo acabe. Antes que a globalização faça tudo virar shopping. E quando o mundo virar shopping, um plantador de arroz no Mekong, um garoto de subúrbio em Shangai ou em São Paulo, uma dona de casa no México, em Los Angeles ou na Malásia, todo mundo vai vestir a mesma coisa, comer o mesmo tipo de fast food, chorar vendo o DiCaprio afundar com o Titanic.
Antes que o mundo como ele era, de gente diferente, de culturas diferentes, histórias próprias, antes que esse mundo acabe, um grupo de fotógrafos, de vários países, de várias culturas, vai fotografar esse mundo, pra que a gente possa se lembrar de como ele era um dia, quando ele tiver acabado....”

“...I’ve heard about this international project that cares about register everything that happens in the world. A friend from Hamburg told me about this project, photographers from all over the world working together to register the World as it is, before everything ends. Before globalization turns the World into a big Shopping Mall. And when the World become a mall, a rice producer in Mekong, a boy in the suburbs of Shanghai or in São Paulo, a housewife in Mexico, in LA or at Malaysia, everyone is going to wear the same thing, eat the same kind of fast food and cry watching DiCaprio sink with the Titanic.
Before the World, as it was, full of different people, different cultures, folklores, before this World ends, a group of photographers is going to register this World, so we can remember how it was someday, when it is gone…”
