About alternative processes printing (read rules please)
This group is about alternative and historical photographic printing processes.
Posting rules
All posts to this group have to include at least the used printing process tag and an additional altprocess tag.
What's GOOD in this pool?
All images (not framed please) that have been printed on paper using an alternative photographic printing process, such as: Albumen, Calotypes, Chrysotypes, Cyanotypes, Ambrotypes, Tintypes, Wetplate Collodion, Salt Print, Monochrom Carbon, Platinum/Palladium, Ziatype, Kallitype (Van Dyke Brown), POP, Gum (Bichromate, Trichromate, etc.), Rawlins Oil, Bromoil, Temperaprint, Argyrotype, Handmade Photogravure Prints ...
What's BAD in this pool?
tests, lith prints, photograms (negative is required), emulsion lifts, hand coloured prints, and other modifications to prints (inkjet or standard photographic processing) without involvement of an alternative printing process.
An alternative recording method (like Holga, pinhole, whatever) or cross processing is not sufficient by itself. It's only accepted in conjunction with an alternative printing process.
Images not meeting this rule will be removed!
