This is a group, whose aim is to seed images for an an online, not for profit, publication called altfotonet.org ISSN 1836-845X. The publication also has a blog, altfotonet.org/blog/ feel free to participate and contribute to the ongoing discussion on Photography's uses functions purpose and possible direction in this the highly wired world of the 21st Century, here and on the blog.

We are currently seeking submissions from creatives/artists/idealists/ratbags/visonaries, who use lenses and light sensitive materials to make statements, create ideas or explore the notion of 'photography' and what it, 'photography', means or has left to say in the 21st century.

By accepting the invite to post, or join this group, you are agreeing to allow the editors/curators/publishers of altfotonet.org ISSN 1836-845X, [ a not for profit organisation] to publish your work in a future edition of the e-zine/e-gallery at their website. [The altfotonet.org website, is also being archived by the National Library of Australia.] You of course retain full copyright of your image/s, and will be credited for it/them. You also agree to allow the editors/curators/publishers of altfotnet.org, to publish your work in a future edition, of the blog, altfotonet.org/blog/



Periodically we will ask for submissions to themes and the curatorial volunteers will then select a body of work to publish.
