Along the same lines as the Mantis just above me, is this "stare down" from Dragon*Con 2010 in Atlanta.
The subject found this photo on my Dragon*Con Flickr photostream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/d*con blue) and sent me a nice email. His Flickr handle is sithlordmaliss81 if anyone is interested.
I think an interesting adjunct to this thread would be a thread where other viewers chime in and agree or disagree with the poster on his/her choice. No "fireworks", please.

Here is mine.
Early morning at Yellowstone National Park. I sneaked out of our lodge whenall my family members were sleeping, It was really worth while to get up early and shot around.

Happy New Year!2010 was over.
This simply means you have no excuse. Now everybody have your best shot in 2010, one way or another. You can't say "I don't have one yet".
So far , only 13 members participated. Remeber we have 257 members !!

I was standing in water chest deep when I shot this. So this is a bit different from the usual Mardis Mill shot plus I had to work for it.
