About Sony Alpha Black and White
Black and white photos taken with the Sony Alpha or Konica Minolta DSLR Cameras.
Also discussion about shooting black and white with these cameras and black and white photography in general.
Please do not post any color in the image at all here. No tinting other than basic and very minimal selenium style tone to images.
Please do not post overly repetitive or similar images here. One is enough.
This group is interested in images that are converted to black and white. No superimposition of typography/fonts over the images is permitted. This includes your name/company in any font or hand written or any kind of type on the image.
Plug ins for Aperture, Photoshop, etc. for conversion, manipulation, and mimicking film types and grain can also be the topic of discussion. Using Nik Silver Efex Pro and any other color to black and white image converters can also be topics for discussion. Some software, like Silver Efex, also allows the exporting of styles - which could be posted and shared.
Please do not post other images you have taken with other cameras such as film cameras.
This is really only about the art of black and white photography on the Alpha systems, digitally.
