About All Skate! (vintage skating signs)This group is for photos of vintage ice skating and roller skating signs. If in doubt as to whether something is vintage or not, submit it to the pool and I'll make the tough calls. Vintage giant skates, motorized or not, are also welcome since they, too, function as signs. Photos of people skating or skates themselves, photos of skating rinks without signs, or signs shot from way, way far away will not make it into the pool. But otherwise -- plastic signs, neon signs, hand-painted signs -- all welcome as long as they are pre-1980 or so. Thanks for your contributions and I hope you enjoy this special collection of photos. |
