About Allegheny River
The Allegheny river used to be an industrial highway and it is now largely recreational in use. Here's a place to post pictures of the river:
- The various things people do in and along the river.
- The beauty of the river.
- The history (remnants of the river's industrial past)
- Structures crossing the river (but the river must be included, so looking up at the structure of a bridge is not really a picture of the river)
Although pictures from the entire length of the river from it's source in Potter County to the Point in Pittsburgh are welcome, please make sure you indicate at what point along the river the picture is taken.
