About Facades
I like capturing storefronts and so I thought of starting this group on Facades. But the word facade implies other thoughts and that is what I would like to see here. So, whatever you have that supports the definition of a facade is welcome here. (Images that have nothing to do with this theme will be removed.)
Definition:
1. The face of a building, especially the principal face.
2. An artificial or deceptive front: ideological slogans that were a façade for geopolitical power struggles.
3. a showy misrepresentation intended to conceal something
unpleasant [syn: window dressing]
