About Alberta Heritage Project
I am amazed at all the old homesteads, barns, workshops, churches, schools, trucks, cars, farming equipment, etc all over Alberta. Head down any highway in any direction and you will soon find one.
With the expansion of farming operations, communities and businesses many of these things are slowly vanishing from our Alberta landscape. Many of these buildings are falling down..and not getting up again!
I have met quite a few photographers in Alberta who record many of these images so I thought ... why not have a Flickr Group that can record these images for years to come and in some small way retain our Alberta History...our Heritage.
