ALAPARC (a group admin) says:
03 Dec 10 - ALAPARC is trying to build a better picture of Alabama's amazing amphibian and reptile diversity. We can't do this alone, though, so we're asking for your help. Showcase your photos by joining our group, uploading your best shots of Alabama herps, and putting them on our map (i.e., "geotag" your photos). (For more info on what we're looking for, check out the "Uploading Photos" discussion below.)

About Alabama Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ALAPARC)Although Alabama contains one of the most diverse herpetofaunas in North America, amphibian and reptile populations face a myriad of threats and pressures in the state. We are a network of Alabama individuals from all walks of life united by our interest in the conservation of our unique and fascinating wildlife. We welcome all who share our goals to peruse our site, learn about our conservation initiatives, and consider becoming active within our chapter. Our hope is that ALAPARC helps achieve effective conservation by facilitating cooperation and collaboration among Alabama's dedicated citizenry. |
