Group Intro

I decided to create this group to get all of our medium format and TLR freaks in Alabama together. Yes, we are freaks because everyone stares at us like we've come from a time warp whenever we're out and about with our cool old cameras.

"How old is that?", "My Granddad used to have one of those!", "Where's the viewfinder / screen?" are some of the questions we get. Medium format film is still higher resolution than a 12MP DSLR to this day! (discuss amongst yourselves...;-)

If you've got one, pull it out! If you don't have one, buy one on eBay for super cheap! Buy a Holga for $30! You're in the club now! Go out and shoot. Post em up here. Pros and high end hobbyists with your Mamiyas, Hasselblads, to us cheap artsy weird people with the Rolleis and Yashicas and you street shooters with your Holgas and plastic cameras. All are welcome!

A few rules:
- Must be shot in Alabama
- Must be medium format film (120 or 220 film)
- try to tag your photos with "Alabama Medium Format"
- Comment on the photo before yours. Cmon' comment on one photo! Geez! Post as many as you want but comment on one before you.
- Be open to criticism. If you dish it out be prepared to take some yourself.
