About Art Gallery of Ontario
Welcome to the Art Gallery of Ontario Flickr Group. We love seeing the photos from your visit!
About the AGO
Founded in 1900 by a group of private citizens as the Art Museum of Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario is one of the largest art museums in North America, with a physical facility of 583,000 square feet. The AGO expanded it facility in 2008 with an innovative architectural design by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry. We holds more than 80,000 works in our collection, which spans from 100 A.D. to the present, and we invite you to come and see them!
Our Mission
We bring art and people together and boldly declare Art Matters.
Our Vision
We will become the imaginative centre of our city and province, reflecting our diverse and dynamic setting. We will enhance our international profile as a leading cultural destination and innovative partner in the celebration of art, forging a new model for art museums.
