About Leftover Sock Yarn Projects

I don't know about you, but whenever I make a pair of socks, I end up with enough wool to do maybe one more sock. Now, admittedly, having a trio of matching socks isn't necessarily a bad thing (especially if they're machine washable, because we all know what happens to sock in the wash!) but generally by the time I've finished the second sock I'm sick to death of knitting that particular colour / pattern. So this is somewhere to share ideas for what on earth to do with that leftover yarn. Post the original socks, and then whatever you did with the remainder (and yes, making a pair of baby sized socks does count).
