About Advocacy Project
Each summer, the Advocacy Project send peace fellows to work with our partner organizations abroad.
The Advocacy Project's mission is to empower marginalized communities by strengthening the capacity of their representatives and advocates -- AP's partners.
In recent years, AP has sent peace fellow to work on a number of pressing issues, including:
-Women's rights and girls' education in Afghanistan
-Trafficking of women from Nigeria to Italy
-The empowerment of survivors of the 1995 Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia
-Rebuilding of Tamil communities in Sri Lanka affected by the Tsunami and discrimination
This group is a place for our peace fellows and interns to share their photographs from the field with the Advocacy Project, each other, and the world.
