About A Doll a Day 2009

Welcome to A Doll a Day 2009! Many of us enjoy a number of different types of dolls, and this group will give us a chance to spend time with all of them. We won't insult you with a bunch of rules - y'all know how to operate within a group by now - but here are a few basic guidelines:

1. Beginning on January 1, 2009, members may post one photo per day (preferably taken on that day) of their dolls. If you miss a day, don't sweat it - this is FUN, remember! - just pick up where you left off.

2. You may post photos of Blythe, Lati, Pullip, Puki, Hujoo, Dal, Strawberry Shortcake, Susie Sad Eyes ... whatever floats your boat. Variety is the spice of life!

The occasional Barbie or Bratz doll will be tolerated, if used artistically or to make a particular point, like so:

Seriously, though, there are many Barbie groups out there, and we'd like to keep this group focused on articulated, ball-joint, and similar Asian art dolls, with members occasionally spicing things up with a vintage or other novelty doll.

3. Let's not take ourselves too seriously (see FUN above), but please be sure to respect one another.
